Well done Max, two thirds is a great start. And there is not a lot between the Duke, R1 or the 'prilla (Biaggi was clocking 312 km/hr down the straight at Qatar). BUT does that R1 sound great? It sounds like Rossi's M1 in there. Mmm.. must find out more about crossplane cranks..

Looks like it will go as well as it looks!
It looks absolutely brilliant in simple black and red.
Max and the team were obviously very happy and it can only get better from here. :smt038 :smt038 :smt038
Ben Spies is a bit worrying though! Three wins out of four is a brilliant start for the R1, Flat plain cranks all round for Jap IL4s next year?

Yea, 2 podiums in its 3rd and 4th competitive outings is pretty good going. Even Nakano managed to not fuck it up :smt003

And the yam sounds and works so well i think i'll crossplane my crank down (my dads a joiner, he'll have one), cos if a 4 made to run like a twin can win - think what a twin running like a single would do. Total domination. Might patent it.

edit: oh and well done to laverty aswell, kicked the works bikes arses

Hey all,

Here's a couple of pictures of the RSV4 in action the other week at Phillip Island.

Enjoy! :smt001

It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.
