How many of you ...

#1 Post by Samray » Sun Feb 08, 2009 1:24 pm

... are cack-handed?

These days I seem to be constantly be surprised to notice how many people I considered to be perfectly normal :smt083 appear on television and I suddenly realise they're left-handed.

Jezza raised the subject today which prompted my question. Does it affect riding a bike?

strikes me that love him or loathe him, clarkson is actually a pretty good journalist - at least he says what others think

(Probably not popular in 10 downing street atm though....)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Any of our Scottish members feel that Clarkson went too far naming GB a OESI? He certainly apologised to all of you, and any visually impaired people, but he still nailed GB as an idiot! Well done Clarkson!

in terms of libel, it is only the idiot word that he could be done for.... the rest is the truth :)

I'm sure he plagurised one of my posts on here from many months ago, and I considered it more a statement of fact than an insult. :smt001

Sam - why not add a poll to this then we can discover whether Ridersite is representative in its proportion of cack-handers to normal people.

I'm sure you've got the resources to arm both sides and make a handy profit out of the carnage.

Unfortunately, it doesnt fare well for the Normalies...

The majority of our personal weapons are right handed user friendly. Which is great!!

the only time it gets good for the lefties is when we start talking heavy weapons.....

So the Normalies would get 5.56mm bullets to shoot with the low power stuff..

Whereupon the Lefties would retaliate with section support weapons like GPMG, 50 Cal and Challenger 2 tanks.

Like I said.. I'll don me flakjacket until it's all over....

I'm right-handed but partially ampidextrous. Some things I can do with both hands (stop sniggering at the back) but there does not seem to be any trend as to what I can and cant do with my left. I can't write (neatly) with my left and I cant feed myself with my left - but I can throw or bounce a ball with either hand. I used to fire a variety of firearms which I could do with both hands - this proved usefull with clay-pigeon shooting as both shoulders would get equally bruised :smt002

Don't think a flack jacket's going to be much use against a challenger 2, unless it's 15 feet thick and made of concrete.

Besides, lefthanders are more creative that that, you 'mundains' will be expecting tanks, but we'll be creeping up when you're not expecting it, confusing you with contempory dance, trying to make you understand abstract art and misdirecting your attention with compex architectural formulae.

Then we'll slit your face :smt003
