05 Falco for sale - SOLD

#1 Post by Kenif » Tue Jan 27, 2009 4:18 pm

Yep, another Falco owner is shortly leaving the world's most (increasingly) exclusive club

Have put the main details below and a link to some pics

2005 (05 plate), 8100 miles, HPI clear, One former owner

MOT 12/2009, Tax 12/2009

Owners manual and Workshop manual

Spare key, Tool kit, Seat hump and pillion seat

New tyres (Diablo rear, Diablo Corsa front)

Blue Flame Carbon exhausts (originals included)

Power Commander III, R&G crash bungs

Scottoiler, Heated grips, Datatag

Mille shock (recently refurbished)

Baglux tank cover (black)

Bad bits

Scrape on right side exhaust (bit of an off when they were on my previous Falco)

Would like to get £25,000 for it

Probably not gonna happen so offers in the region of £3,500 are more likely

So, if you know anyone on the look out, give me a yell on

07837 437 848 or kendrapes@yahoo.co.uk

Oh, based in SE London!

... I'll kick off the questions then ......

Is this some sort of Ducati ?

Will you end the auction early if I offer you £650 on a Buy it Now ?

I'm a representative of a Nigerian bank and would like to transfer £500,000 to your account in exchange for your motorcycle and a money order for £15,000 - will you send me the money order this week and deposit the motorcycle at the address we will text through to you. What is your phone number, your bank account details and your mother's maiden name?

Yes (if it makes you buy it)

Yes, as long as I can shag you up the arse with a 12 foot oar on public television first

You can have all those details provided you transfer the money in cash, delivered by hand by Sally James or Suzi Quatro

How am I doing so far on the tact and diplomacy stakes?

.

so u like grey minge then??

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

No wonder the cost was originally 25 grand, with all this shagging of aging female celebs included!

Does the Nigerian banker's draft one come next or this there meant to be some more in between? :smt013

Would you swap it for a Kenwood Teasmade? Its nearly new, with original box and instructions, still under warranty. Slightly marked on the left side from a minor spill, but it will polish out. I might even chuck in a CB1300 for good measure.

Lovely bike, the best colour scheme, if I could sell mine I would be offering you the readies, but it almost seems pointless putting up an advert at the minute...

Tea?

#11 Post by Kenif » Wed Feb 04, 2009 8:47 pm

Damn. If it had been a coffee machine I might have gone for that! :smt003

Was thinking about sticking a ski on the front of teh Falco and calling it a snowmobile but reckon most serious buyers will know that this weather is pretty unusual (even for the UK). Worst case scenario is that it doesn't meet the reserve and I get to keep it for a bit longer so not too worried at the moment.

Having said that, the first one to give me three grand can have it!
