Makes me laugh how, all the Falco owners said how good the Falco is, didn't say a bad word about the SV. All the SV lot can do is slag off the Falco/Aprilia/Italian bikes in general.

I thought an RGV IS a Suzuki?but it is no quicker than my anniversary SV 1000 and we have to push start the RGV all the time

well just to balance things, i have in my garage
1x Falco- works fine, excellent build quality.
1X Honda xr400, works fine excellent build qaulity.
1x Sv650s, needs sorting, EFI/ conector problem. not good build quality. (great fun on twisties though)
The falco is seriously a much higher build quality, and quite a different animal than the Suzuki, be it 650 or 1000.

I can only conclude they have small penis' and have no real idea on what makes a great bike
I saw no reference to how fast they are?!
Never ride faster than your guardian angel can fly
The gearboxes are better, but that's about it.

I suspect the SV would have been a better bike if it had used the same TL engine.Okamoto wrote:Mind you my Bro' has a Cagiva Raptor ...very good bike ...Italian with Suzuki TL1000 motor
I had an early SV650S and would have been happy to upgrade to an SV1000, but when I saw the pre-release pictures I thought URGH!!!

Is it just me or did Suzuki ruin the SV when they made it all angular?
I was amused by the guy on the SV site who reckoned his SV was faster than his mate's Fireblade...I'm guessing his mate was literally just that, i.e. his wife!!!

Have to admit that the yellow 650 'curvy' I collected for my sister and ran for a few weeks was the reason i bought the falco, I had a MK1 fazer at the time and just really liked the whole torque riding thing.....obviously the falc has a whole load more, but my sisters bike with a full big bore Micron system sounds sweet too
