How do I post Quotes on this site ?

#1 Post by Fausto » Wed Jan 31, 2007 6:33 pm

Help !!

Actually I have worked out how to post a quote but don't know how to get the....

FAUSTO WROTE
....... bit before the quote.

In other words I can do this....
... but I think it's going to take us quite a while to get to grips with the Emoticons!
but not this.... well obviously no example possible !!

Anybody able to help in simple terms ?

Very easy.

Top right hand of each post has a tab marked "quote".

If you're viewing a post, there's a "Quote" button in the top right corner of the post, that does all the work for you. Otherwise, type

Strewth!

From blissful ignorance to full understanding in 5 mins. flat!

Many thanks gents.

Feeling slightly silly now about not noticing the "quote" button on each AND EVERY post :smt011

Next question... how can I remove this thread so nobody else can see what a twat I am ? :smt002

Well it's tempting to ask..... but I'm not proud and it may help someone else just as lazy/useless as me if we leave it here.

Thanks guys.
