Had my first problem in 4 years of Falco ownership today. The baby wouldn't start. Just given her some TLC and a good wash and polish after a long ride round the Yorks Dales last week (she still looks sooooo good :smt007 ) Then fired her up and the starter just span and it wouldn't catch.

Remembered others describing this and after a couple of minutes searching old threads I founds the answer. Wound the throttle wide open, no fast idle and after a couple of cycles she burst into aggressive life :smt001.

That's it... just thought I'd share that with you. :smt006

:smt023 Glad it's been of use! It makes the effort people put in (everyone, not just an 'admin moment') worthwhile.

Well done all :smt001

am waiting for group hugs.....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
