Does anyone know if the old red calipers can be swapped for the gold Brembos from later models? And if they're the same for Mille or Falco?
Had a bit of an incident with mine and, whilst getting ready to split them and clean out thoroughly, need a contingency plan!
Unless anyone has a set that they want to get shot of?

I 've never see the early bike with red calipers ...but if they have showa forks etc I would say yes
The brembo "goldline calipers" were used on loads of italian bikes so should be very easy to get hold of ....pop along to your local bike wreckers and compare some

I also believe the answer is 'yes'. Ebay normally has tons of these going as Okamoto says - they were used on many bikes.

The answer is definately YES
The calipers from most late(ish) Ducatis will also fit, inc the monobloc calipers from the 749 & 999.
The red calipers are excatly the same as the early gold Brembo calipers only the colour changed

Think I might have a spare set in the garage. I'll have a look tomorrow evening if you like.

Hi TT
Thanks for that. Just found out that the calipers are fine and that the master cylinder may have a blocked return valve so
probably won't need to replace them
yet
Cheers though
