It seems legislation is inevitable requiring helmets to be worn on quad bikes following recent disastrous accidents, and probably quite rightly so.
Also seems to me that this must necessarily apply to trikes as well.
A shame.

possible, but the nature/use of quad bikes is quite different from trikes
having said that, if a quad bike is declared as such as it has an open top and four wheels, I look forward to seeing all the hairdressers cars being driven by folks wearing helmets....
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

A car full of women wearing those salon-style hair-dryers .... just the job in a hairdresser's car

I (almost) always wear a helmet on my trike anyway, seems like common sense to me, it stops my hair from getting tangled.
Oh and if I had an accident I reckon I'd most likely come off on my head so the helmet might do me a bit of good there too.
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

Doesn't seem to make any difference round here they take them without number plates/helmet on the road.
Mind you most are owned by the nasty pikeys in the area
