suspension set up

#1 Post by PeteL » Sun Sep 21, 2008 9:48 am

My stock falco is very hard/unforgiving as soon as the road surface is at all rough or uneven. This is accentuated when in in a corner and the front wheel skips about a bit. Its perfect on a smoothe surface but I commute all year over a variety of surfaces that South Yorkshire has to offer :smt019
Annyone got an idiots guide to a simple set up in 10 sentences or less :smt003 I get bored easy
OR do I have to sit and read about preload and static sag for hours???
Cheers
Pete

personally, take your bike along to where there is atrack day - some where in the paddock will be some one who will set your suspension up for fifty quid or so

I spent more than that, at mc technics, but cannot fault the bike at all :)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
