apologies, i missed this post first time
glad it workedout :)
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Just got one of these for myself as I have the KN air filter and Leo leo vince exhausts , does it just plug in as a straight replacement?

Looks like a straight replacement.
Just make sure that you get it in the right way round.
IIRC the notch denotes where pin 1 is. Someone has got away with installing a chip the wrong way round then correcting it, but I've also heard of incorrectly fitted chips being fried.

just plugs in.
my bike has ART exhausts (straight through) and a standard air filter.
The eprom definitely smoothed out my midrange, however, the idle is a little lumpier (not much)
