Scotland this Weekend ???

#1 Post by EdinburghFalco » Mon Sep 01, 2008 5:50 pm

As the planned Falco flock didn't come about last weekend, what about getting together this weekend for the HIZZY RUN this weekend? Folk from below the border could swell the number if they fancy the ride.
You check out the route and times at http://adml.co.uk/cgi-bin/newsdets.pl?ref=30

I'd love to come but I'm already double booked.

'Tis my Mum's 80th Birthday celebrations on the Sunday and my Japanese boss said to me the other day "do you know World Superbike?- I think I have a ticket". He's a keen golfer and took part in a Japanese ex-pat golf tournament. He missed out on the first 2 prizes (flights to Japan) but scored third place ... a pair of tickets for Donnington for all 3 days plus paddock passes plus hospitality on race day with Honda - personally attended by a Honda young lady with lunch etc. He isn't interested in going so I've got all the stuff!
Trouble is, that's the same day as Mum's birthday do .... and I've not yet worked out how to be in 2 places at once ..... but I'm working on it.

If I could split myself 3 ways I'd be on my way up - passport in hand :smt002

I'm planning on doing the Hizzy run along with a couple of others, all weather permitting of course.

Then again I am off to the Braemar Gathering on Friday with the same mates so we'll be there sobriety permitting.
