We like people who modify their bikes on here ..... but I think that's a bit extreme
Anyway welcome and heal up quickly.
If you've not discovered already many of us ride Falcos .... some have gone and made the bastard child of the 2-oh-no and the Falco (a Falcuono it's been dubbed) and a few ride Milles, RSVRs and Tuonos.
I'm sure before long F9, Nooj/Debz, Okamoto or someone will be along to tell you first-hand about the Tuono.
Cheers

Most people used to use penknives to nick VW badges off the front of VWs..
I suppose if you didnt have a penknife then the first thing to hand could do the job..
...but I wouldve though removing the bike from the key wouldve been a bit more sensible..
Glad youre alive. I wouldve expected a fatality looking at that set of pics.

Never ride faster than your guardian angel can fly
Yup, scary as hell.Syltiz wrote:Scary stuff. Was the car to blame at all?
I'm guessing that the car with the newly redecorated front end tried to pull a right-hand turn in front of catsx11...
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.
Re: Newbie soon tobe Rookie?
Dunno what's happened to our Tuono contingent with their tales of how wonderful the Touno is ..... maybe they're the hard-of-reading members on here?catsx11 wrote:My first post as a prospective owner.
I'm looking to replace what is left of my Honda x11 with a Tuono
So, advice needed...
The x11 was physically such a different beast - an absolute brute,
I expect the Tuono to be a brute but feel harder and more 'flickable'.
But with similar performance figures and at half the price the x11 is hard to beat
Had an x11 for 7 years, so time for change huh?
Any advice on a Tuono, let me know
Good to see there are a few of you in the Herts area, may meet up
one day?
Ride safe!
Come on you lot .... tell the man what he needs to know - I think he's suffered enough lately

Hello
...have I missed anything while I've been on a short break??
welcome catsx11 ..whadya wanna know...I think you nailed it in your description...Tuono: more flickable / harder / similar performance ...but i'm hoping the injuries sustained in your smash won't give you any stick..the Tuono is a stiff but well damped ride, and the pegs are quite high.....BUT the bike is very addictive and great fun to ride, to put it bluntly it's the best bike I've owned
...that is after it's been uncorked (akra' 2-2 / commander / renagade airbox / chip ) ...yes there's lots of easy available goodies to play with on those long winter nights.
Not having been on a x11 I can only imagine it's a big bus !...so I'll be dying to get your first impression on a "T" it should feel like a trials bike
but if you wanna know anything specific i'll be happy to give my biased opinion .
