Going to the Misano GP on 31st August. Access to the circuit looks quite easy and it's close to the major roads. Plan to get there nice and early - about 7-7.30am. and no rush to get away in the evening.
Any useful tips from anyone would be appreciated.

I've never been to Misano but I would reckon a good early viewing spot is vital, Our Italian friends (in my personal experience) have no sense of "personal space" so be prepared to stand your ground, give em an inch and they'll take it trust me......... a few Milanese got the thick end of my wrath at last years Milan bike show.
For a country that invented the worlds first 7 speed reverse gearbox you'd think they give each other a bit of space.......but not a bit of it

Bit late for you, but for anyone else doing it... take water. Lots of water! And a towel to sit on if you're on the banking. If you have removable legs that would be a real bonus as you will be packed in like a sardine.
Practice days are quieter (obviously) and are worth going to if you want to take good photos. Race day, get there FIRST THING or you will struggle to see the track unless you have a grandstand seat.
If you're staying in Catolica (recommended, nice place), the free bus is better than any other way of getting there, though it's a 10 minute walk across a field from the race stop to the circuit gate. Even when it spends half an hour stuck in traffic after the race, it's still quicker than walking back, don't get off even if everyone else does.
Fireworks will be let off and the crowd will go mental if Rossi wins, be prepared!
