Cant log in

#1 Post by Pierre » Thu Aug 14, 2008 10:05 am

Well I can, obviously from this post, but i have to use my laptops IE7. Installed firefox on my home pc and since then i cant log in to here. I enter my name and details , click login and it just reloads the page with name and pass in, but not logged in. Tried changing my password and made no difference. Probably something im doing wrong in firefox?

Cant use ie on my main pc cos its broke and 1) im not reinstalling xp to fix it and 2) cant upgrade it for errrr well I just cant :smt002

Just had exactly the same problem. Does this mean I need to clear cookies everytime I want to log in?

I couldn't log in with Firefox either and got exactly the same results, back to the log in page with my details still in the boxes, but not logged in. Tried clearing out cookies, emptying temp interweb folder etc. to no avail.

Am on Chrome now, seems to work OK so far.

I'm on Firefox too and it's worked fine for me but clearly with the number that have reported problems (and presumably more that haven't been able to) there does seem to be an issue.
I guess it's some Firefox setting .... but goodness knows what.
