Lidl Bulbs

#1 Post by Stokesy » Thu Jan 25, 2007 7:20 pm

Shamelesly copied off the AF1 Forum

"Lidl Supermarkets are flogging auto bulb sets,

2off 30%+ halogens in Falco flavour H7 (also H1 and H7) complete with 4off assorted brake/tail light bulbs.

In a pretty plastic box and all for £3.99

So that uprates all three headlamp bulbs with one spare for £8!"

Maybe it does but you'll need 6 extra sets as replacements as they are really rubbish in the life stakes.

(I tried them on my GS)

I do ... just bought a digital tyre pressure gauge and some garage racking from ALDI on my way home tonight (took the car to work today).

Try Halfords cheapo pressure gauge (5 quid or so). Extremely precise! It was tested against plenty other, far more expensive ones and it won. Small and automatic. 5/5

(no, I don't work there) :smt013

.... thanks Sab .... but I don't need to ..... I've just bought one from Aldi .... it's the "RAC Tyre Service Kit" - contains digital pressure gauge, tread depth gauge, valve tool and 4 dust caps - cost £4.99

I expect the tyre gauge will get the most use. :smt003
