thought about the gold but i was looking at the pic and i'm going for a silver 1 to match the frame.
went to order a sprocket cover from aprilia yorkshire... no probs but a £5 part total cost 31 i don't think so!!!!
see how much from jez mcwilliams shop here.
NOW IF EVERY1 JUST NOT BID ON THE CYLINDER I WOULD BE OKAY.....
tried bidding loads of times and didn't realise that many aprilias out there!!

How the hell did they get from £5 to £31? The cover weighs 2/10 of bugger all so postage can't be much. VAT only adds 95p so where's the rest come from?
If you get truly stuck, PM me and I'll nip over and get one for cash and post it myself.

The ride is the reason ........ the destination is just the excuse.
I've been watching them for about a year now ... always hoping that "this will be the week that everyone that wants one already has one" - or that they've all gone away for the week and can't log on to ebay .... and every week somebody else decides that one would look nice on their bike and the price goes up and up.scottyni wrote:

(Kwackerz - there is no emoticon for a rapper... will you look into this please?

Not sure about the phantom bidders - the selling price does vary and as long as there are a couple of genuine bidders, they'll push the price up to whatever they are willing to pay ... just that I'm a bit of a skinflint and won't go as far as the other bidders! (and as a committed sniper, once the price has gone above my limit I'm not going to bid)Thumper wrote:So do you think there may be some phantom bidders out there D-Rider can't say I am all that worried 36k now and the old cylinder is still holding up well and another in the falco parts store
I guess it would mainly be a "bling" purchase - so not really that important - but the reduction in lever pressure could be welcome.
