instrument cluster

wonder if someone can help me.
the lights are not working on the instrument cluster, the speed o, rev counter and everything else does not lite up.
any suggestions? Also one side of the rear lights and the brake lights are not working, could that be connected or is it just a bulb?

For the rear light, check that the connector is pushed in properly on the side that's not working.

Have you checked fuses for the other stuff - or the connector ?

Thanks for reply mate the rear was just a bulb, but as for the instrument cluster its in the same fuse circuit as the horn indicators etc etc which work fine.
Dont want to start probing around the back unless I know what I am looking for as I always break more

There is a huge plug at the back of the dashboard, mine become loose the other day. Check that.
