have moaned enough about processions in the past so its maybe worth saying how good the weekends GP was. couldnt care who won (though it was nice to see Alonso lose) but the racing was good, lots of overtaking etc

now how can we arrange for it to p*ss it down next race?

:smt005 It was a bit of a 'setting the men from the boys' day wasnt it... although how the boy ended up 1 minute in front of the Men beats me... :smt005 :smt005 It was great to see all those millions of pounds worth of cars sliding off the track simply due to the fact that the link between the steering wheel and the accelerator couldnt cope.

They shouldve run it in Mk 2 Escorts

Couldn't agree more Laz, tho my thoughts at the w/e were overshadowed by the fact that the F1 is to move to Donni and thereby ruining one of the best bike tracks on the planet.

Sorry Kwacks but must disagree with you on that one.
I'd prefer my old Mk1 Escort -

1968 Mk 1 Escort Twin Cam, if anybody is interested, me and the wife at Gamston Airfield in Notts. more than 25 years ago, also a bit sideways, with not a drop of rain in sight. :smt003
P.S. the Grand Pricks was less boring than normal, and nice to see a Brit win!
