VTR/Firestorm stand fitting

#1 Post by Crispy » Mon Jun 30, 2008 7:29 pm

Having now become a bit paranoid about the stand I ordered a VTR Firestorm stand from a breakers which arrived today. Matching it up to the bike the bracket of the Honda stand doesn't match the Falco - the bolt holes are too close together. Is the stand mod to mount the VTR stand on the Falcos existing bracket via the pivot bolt or have I been sent the wrong stand?

Any tips?

yes, you have to use the falco bracket

you can also use the vtr sidetand switch if you have that, BUT it will activate the light, but not the cutout
(Trace the wiring back to the loom and you will see it is a straight plug in

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
