Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Why buy a Kawasaki GTR1000?
* Comfortable
* Powerful (110bhp for A1-A4 models)
* Fantastic luggage capacity
* Huge 28.5 litre fuel tank - good for well over 220 miles
* Superb weather protection
* Mirrors like TV screens
* Cheap to Buy
* Plenty of space for a passenger
* Shaft drive (no messy chain to maintain)
What to look for:
* Noisy camshafts (£350 each plus fitting) - sounds like very noisy tappets
* Loose timing chain (tensioner may need renewing)
* Exhaust maniflow prone to leaking at balance pipe
* Worn steering head - prone to steering shake

That would be my suggestion or how about a Suzuki GSX750F teapot - pig ugly but pretty much bombproof and not too slow either (600 is OK as well but not as quick) - you would just need to get luggage fitted.fastasfcuk wrote:honda deaville shaft driven and fitted with luggage.
