Specially planes!
I'm all excited, got my ticket, flying out to Malaga on 9 July to meet up with Lucy and Simon and stay in their campervam for a few days!
Remember I posted about their exploits in the snow? Well they moved on at the end of the season and are now exploring southern Spain and Portugal.

It'll be fun staying with them in the van - they do what's known as 'wild camping' - parking up anywhere that looks good, usually by the sea and with a few like-minded folks, and just visit a campsite once a week or so to charge everything up and empty the loo and do the washing!
Trains and boats and planes...........

And another place (different germans)Having spoken to a German in a motorhome at the car park it seemed it was ok to stop the night, which we did peacefully.
The following day was unusually relaxing for us. But despite thinking we were home and dry we were knocked-up by the police after 11pm last night. They took our registration and passport details and pointed out the sign saying ‘no camping allowed’ in both English and Spanish! They weren’t confrontational and are just doing their job, but it was a little late to be moving on. We drove, with the German motorhome back to the car park near Lidl supermarket, where we spent our first night in Tarifa. Not as glamorous as the beach but we still had a good night’s sleep and had several vans for company.
The morning after catching up with Mike we were woken by the German campers. It seems it wasn’t public land and the owner wasn’t happy at the number of vans parked on it, 1 or 2 is ok but 4 was unacceptable, so we had 1 hour to move before he called the police!
