Sorry to hear that, m8.

Been there....three times! Do you know what's exactly broken? Which one is that? Are you doing Falcuono conversion? :smt003

You've only done half the job - I broke both mine skiing in February! It took 2.5 months and a set of Helibars to ride the bike comfortably again and it's still quite interesting under heavy braking. My tip would be not to overdo it too soon - I went out a week or two after getting the casts off and it set back my recovery a few weeks. Good Luck!

No, really. They wouldn't let me take the bike on the slope, so I had to use them ski things!

It's broken going across from below the thumb and then moving down the wrist. Don't know the bone(s) involved.

Although, by looking at the x-ray I know have at least 207 in my body.

Don't you mean 208?

Heal quick ... back to 207 again. :smt001

Sounds like radius. Number one HERE

Depending on how bad it is, you may be mended in a month or three, just as well... Remember to exercise as advised when they free the wrist.

What kind of wrist exercise would you recommend?

what ever the physio tells you to do

and sorry to hear about the fracture

and I suspect it is the scaphoid that you have broken from your description. If so I hope it heals from both ends - if so it will heal quicker - many do not and take longer

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Ha! That didn't take long...Just take it easy at first.

I remember I used to ride a pushbike and climbing trees (tree house) with both wrists fractured and plastered...I was 12 then...Good old times. Now I would be whimpering and moaning and all. Where the hell did I put my glasses? :smt015
