I've decided I want to buy some rearsets after riding Greg-D's bike at the weekend (think his are Gilles). It had loads more room (which is at a premium given my 6ft7ins) and was much more comfortable.
Question is, do RSV rearsets fit too? There's a few on ebay which are fairly cheap whereas there's nothing for the Falco. Can ayone offer any advice?
Cheers muchly!

I highly doubt so. If I wasn't drunk I would say I'm positive that it's negative.

hmmmm I was gonna agree with seb, but i've just been into garage and done a quick measure on rsv frame vs falco, and they both measure 76mm from hole-hole.
sooo errrrr there must be another reason why they dont fit OR they do fit. (bearing in mind i measured with an old wooden ruler

)
I'd measure in more detail but its bikepub night and im off out to get slaughtered

How about the rear brake assembly?
You could easily make it work with your exceptional hammering skills.
Bigun, have you thought about Buell XB9S (I think) pegs? They're approx 1 inch lower. That should do the trick, they supposedly fit with minimal filing required and they cost less than 30 delivered (half a day delivery, excellent service from
www.robinsonsfoundry.co.uk ). I'm putting them on in a few weeks. Will let you know how it worked.

Falco rearsets seem perfect fit onto an rsv frame? maybe something else doesnt line up? If its just the gear linkage (how can it be?) then something can be butchered*cough* i mean 'fabricated' to fit.

So it seems! Cheers Pierre, I think thats answered a query. I'm sure a gear linkage could be erm, modified if needs be!
Right, money being spent me thinks.
BTW, Pierre, is that carbon cover covering a HUGE dent or something?

I thought the mounting points were the same, as Pierre's photos show, so they should bolt right up. The difficulties are probably the gear linkage, but SUBTLE (Pierre, this means without the use of a fekkin great hammer)customisation, and the rear master and hose. Again fixable without too much trouble I'd think.
