...seem to be going through it at the mo' with no sign of leakage. A bit paranoid after crash - how often do folks typically top it up summer riding/ commuting?

In a word "never" either on the Falco or now on the T. If you're using it, it's leaking from somewhere. Maybe worth getting your friendly dealer to do a pressure test if you can't see any obvious leak.

isn't there an odd ocurrence of some T piece leaking somewhere between the pots?

...thanks y'all. Will search the forum and keep investigating. FYI - anyone folowing my repairs, the rear brake caliper hanging bracket that was wrecked in my tumble ended up taking my spanner monkeys about an hour to remove and replace after I got a cheap part on ebay - stupidly expensive given how little impact not having a rear brake for a month had on my riding :smt011
