Power commander fitting

#1 Post by Kenif » Sun May 04, 2008 2:26 pm

Ok, have finally given in and have decided to buy a PCIII and a K&N filter to go with the Blue Flames.

Couple of questions though

Just seen a PCIII advertised for £235 (with custom map set up). If I buy this, is it better to get it set up once it's on the bike?
Unless anyone out there is getting shot of one?

If yes, any recommends for where to go (nice ones please :smt018 )?
I live in South East London so near would be good :smt001

usa ebay

ask for it to be sent as a personal gift, that way you avoid custom charges - I did

easy to install - about an hours work

IF you are going to do it, use the money you save on a rene or evo airbox kit. (or make your own)

re maps, use ones for the early milles, and after you have done all the work, then spend the cash on a proper dyno setup

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
