Heads up

#1 Post by TreeTops » Wed Apr 16, 2008 11:18 am

Final update before I sling the stuff on ebay. With the exception of the D-Rider items, everything anyone has expressed an interest in & purchased has been shipped out today. Happy to receive offers on the remaining items:

A pair of standard brembo wheels (no tyres)

EVO HT leads - no plugs though

Right hand mille bar (52mm fork diameter)

Clutch lever and master cylinder

Front brake lever and master cylinder (some wear marks on the lever)

Ignition barrel and fuel filler cap + 2 keys

New air ducts support bracket

Front brake caliper set (2x front), 3 sets front pads (various usage)

Evo fuel pressure modifier (missing the 4 mounting bolts - will try and source them) - no fuel pressure guage

Left hand switchgear (light switch enabled, horn in middle, indicators at the bottom)

--- ADDED ITEMS ---

K&N Air Filter - new

Cargo "Endurance" 30-45l Monster Tail Pack - used / as new

Sidestand & switch - not sure what bike it came from, either a GSX-R or Firestorm (will take photos if anyones interested)

I know where you can get some ... I'll drop you a PM

Oh TreeTops, could do with a clutch lever if you've got one (knackered the grub screw allen socket that locks the adjuster)

Not had chance to really go through the garage but after a rummage:

I have a complete airbox

A complete set of HEL braided brake and clutch hoses

A Nooj rear light led cluster

Fuel tank (needs repainting)

A pair of wheels (no tyres)

I'll need to have a more thorough dig through the garage later in the week to see if there are any levers and clipons. I definately know that I don't have any rearsets (OEM or 3rd party), any other bodywork (other than the fuel tank), front fairing stay, swing arm or frame.

Send us a PM if your interested.

...how about a rear brake master cylinder, rod and linkage? Also after a straight right clip-on handlebar?

I'd like the braided lines and if you have it, a smoke or clear rear lens. :smt002

How much for the 'Nooj rear light led cluster', (I assume thats an LED board to replace the rear bulbs and holders completely; Are they red? :smt017 ). I need em as Im sick of replacing the LED plug-ins fer my smoked rear lense. :smt013

EDIT; Oh, and if falcopops dont want it, how much fer the airbox as well?
Two is the magic number... ;)

Not trying to put you off this but what's to say you won't just blow the board instead of a bulb unit? Perhaps there is an electrical fault that is causing these bulbs to go.

I say this as I haven't had any trouble with mine........ yet :smt009

Good point; normal bulb tend to blow because of the vibration of the V twin.

A led bulb shoul last quite long as long as the power supplied to the bulb is correct.
