sticking throttle

#1 Post by xrphil » Sun Apr 13, 2008 7:59 am

I have had a sticking throttle last couple of times i took the bike out.
nothing major, just taking an extra secound for the revs to drop.
makes it a bit rough changing gear as the revs rise when you pull the clutch.
took it apart yesterday, and checked evrything over, oiled cables etc,
but I found that one of the butterflies was moving slightly (I actually spotted it cos the marks where the croosbar sit where showing)
when i checked, this was holding it open for a secound before being pushed in.
tightened it up and all was well.
just thought i,d post it, as someone else may have the same problem, and its not that easy to spot.
