Club Aprilia Day 2008

#1 Post by D-Rider » Tue Apr 01, 2008 10:36 pm

Just a bit of advanced notice for your diaries.

The Club Aprilia Day will take place on Saturday 12th July 2008
This year's event will be held at:
  • The Three Horseshoes
    Yaxley, near Peterborough.
Last year's event was open to all comers irrespective of whether you belong to Club Aprilia ... or even ride an Aprilia.
Sadly it was not something that could be visited by those who had to attend their wife's friend's wedding
:smt090

I'm assuming this year's event will be open to all - I know those that went last year had a good time. I plan to be there this year ... and it sounds as though Aladinsaneuk will be there too.

Stick it in your diary now.
(Note: I have put this in the Forum Calendar)

:smt001 Only about 38 miles away from me.. That equates to errm.. two and a bit hours on the Moped (Tactical Support Ped) :smt011
May come down in the Car (hour and a half) or on the GPZ (20mins) if ive got it fixed by then.. Assuming Im not doing something of a more military nature.. :smt002

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Would really like to do this, but the baby is due a couple of weeks before that, I don't think the missus would like me spending my paternity leave on a ride-out!

Then again, she might throw me out if I'm under her feet, so you never know! :smt003

I've noted it and will see if I can scrounge a Falco for the day.

Hope to see many of us there :smt003

May well be able to make that.

If the weather looks promising it might be worth risking another night of oblivion.

Andy I'm on your way through and know some sceinic routes to Peterborough...
