Which model of CB250?

The ancient 'T', the 'N' (aka SuperDream), or the one from the mid 1990s?
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.

I always wanted a K4

.... eventually had a G5 though ... the one with the up-swept pipes

One journey, one of my brother's mates insisted on riding pillion (though I didn't want to take him) .... got to the end of the journey and waited for him to get off ... which he couldn't.
His platform heels had melted onto the pipes and he was stuck.
Had to remove his shoes to get off .... and then chisel the shoes off of the pipes ....

I had one when I was a learner.

For an overweight, underpowered lump of a bike it went OK. The damned thing refused to die, which is probably a good thing as I knew nothing about spannering at the time. Eventually managed to sell it for twice what I paid for it. :smt003 [/i]

C15, B25 or something else Gio ??

Couple of my mates and my brother both had Starfires ... seem to remember they had a habit of burning out exhaust valve guides ... one of my mates used to make his own replacements.

It was a 1962 one, I think a C15, it used to drop bits off regularly and after 100 miles it had no brakes left, as the drums were chocker full of dust.

Also had a habit of eating chains cos I forgot the manual chain tensioner from time to time. (unless that was a different bike :smt017 )
