....Ace Cafe London is advertising a ride to South End on Monday. Leaves at 10.30am,; think it's a buy-a-badge-and-the-money-goes-to-charity thing and there's another biker event in South End when you get there... dunno if this is weather permitting (rode 100miles today in horizontal sleet and rain to get my new battery under warranty- not fun). Anyhoo, I'm gonna go and if anyone from this forum wants to meet up and say hi, post here or PM me.

...and I think I was the only Falco there. Snow on way there. Sunny there. Snow on way back. Numb toes and fingertips but otherwise toasty.

...er, I obviously wasn't looking hard enough. There were a **few** bikes there so spotting another Falco in that crowd may have been tricky. Next you're going to post a shot of the dozen pimped up SLs from your Frisky Fuzzy Falco Friends MC Club with me in the background, hand on forehead in seeker mode.

Kiwis sense of smell is better than their eyesight... what does a Falco smell like? (Should I start a new thread on that one?

)

rotarua
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Yeh, maybe. Locking mine every night I almost come mouth to exhaust pipe with the thing - think it's more fumey than Rotorua.

Rotorua is a smallish city on the shores of Lake Rotorua. The surrounding areas are a geothermal wonderland, with geysers, boiling mud pools, and steaming craters - accompanied by the pervasive smell of sulphur.
Ah. Makes sense now..
