Operation Achilles, will employ covert and overt techniques.

One of the key weapons in the clampdown is an unmarked Suzuki Haybusa bike with a camera and speed detection equipment.
That's cheating !! :smt002

What the bike's called after it's been parked in a paddock after going through a hedge.
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.

Yeah ....I've seen it !! ....saw the said "Busa" the other week on the Hull to Beverly road.
Looks like a standard dark blue bike, with rider in normal leathers and lid, only marked up with POLICE on the side fairing. :smt018

Also Lincolnshire police are having a crack down this year so my driving instructor mate has been informed...they will be looking at zorsts / small Reg plates / speeding etc etc ...and not just bikes! ...boy racer type cars as well :smt019

keep your eyes peeled lads... :smt119

Lincolnshire plod have a new fleet of unmarked bikes - I was talking to one of their officers last year, as he attended an off on the way back from cadwell. I was looking around his bike and it was VERY hard to see the police side of it - excellent stealth job, and I also noted he was wearing black leathers, no Hi Vis vest and a dark helmet - ie, looks like you and me

was a nice chap :)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Shouldn't be hard to achieve - stock Deauvilles just fade into the background anyway, so stealth mods should be minimal.... :smt003

lol according to local info it parked in a farm entrance in a village (30) and caught hundreds in it's first day - cars and trucks of course - bikers wouldn't speed in a 30 now would they? :smt059

Are these stealth bikes a new idea then? I mean, I know Dorset Police are ahead of the rest of the forces in many ways, but we had a cop riding a Blackbird with a camera back in, oh about 2000!
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.
