Thought I would be the first to post on here :smt003
First is my old Honda 650 Bros...what a cracking bike!! torqey vtwin motor, genuine 110 mph, great handling, single side swinging arm ...all this in a 1988 bike :smt008.

That looks great. I was considering one of those when I got the Z440

It is the original exhaust but slightly modded (most of the guts removed and a tail bit put on) ...gave a nice rumble :smt003

Second one is my old XR600 Another cracking bike ...this pic is after its revamp, the gearbox gave up and needed a rebuild, sold it to a bloke in spain.

Last one is my old flatracker ...Honda FT500 chassis and XR500 full race motor (came out of a Rickman Road Race Bike with lots of goodies inside!) including mugen cam, polished/ported/big valve head, close ratio box, S&W carb, high comp piston, Race exhaust blah blah blah :smt003

Bloody Great fun!!!

I love the last one, looks like a lightweight CB500 sizewise.

Are there any of these still floating about?

you still see the odd FT500 on fleabay ...last one I bought as a project for roughly £100....Same motor as XL 500 so spares still available off the shelf... only thing to watch realy is the cam bearing surfaces wearing...but these can be fettled by a head shop.
Roughly the same as a Yamaha SR500
Easily modded into something like this ......
