A couple of years ago the front rubber mounting for the oil tank broke and I replaced it fairly easily. Now the rear oil tank mount has come apart, but it looks like a real sod to get at the nut you can't see. The metal oil pipe that goes across the back of the oil tank doesn't allow any movement of the spanner once you do get on it.
Has anyone out there changed this item? I think I might need to take the oil tank out to get enough spanner room. Any tips or advice welcome.
Cheers.

I need a pic M8... I swapped over the oil tanks when I converted the exhaust system, but cannot remember any nuts I couldn't get access to.
As I remember the whole bike was very easy to work on (far easier than my current Tuono) and everything came apart quite well.
I just cannot remember the specific oil tank mount you mention, but once the oil tank is free of all it's mountings there is a lot of movement even with the oil pipes still attached. I'd be tempted to remove the fixings let the oil tank come free and you should be able to get in with a spanner to get a repair done
