DB Screen

Got a Euro trip booked for this year and thinking I need to fit a higher screen to make the longer stretches a bit more comfortable. Who's got what and are they all pretty much the same.

Views and opinions most welcome.

i've got a pyramid up for grabs if interested, it gives excellent protection but in my opinion spoils the looks of the bike.

Ive just hacked the top off my Puig black DB; I hated the look of it and tbh it didnt offer any extra protection over the OE screen. That and its a pretty poor fit as well. Got it cheap tho... :smt003
Two is the magic number... ;)

I used to have a skidmarx D/B screen on and used it for my France trip last summer. I was plenty comfortable but also hated the look and have changed back to standard shape.

Question is - did the D/B offer more protection?

Well, although I haven't made any long trips since I haven't noticed any discomfort. Although I still have the D/B I doubt I'll refit it for my next trip.

I have to say the only reason i have a double bubble fitted is so the satnav has somewhere to hide.
The original screen gives i feel as much protection AND looks nicer.

Exactly the same reason as me ... I far prefer the look of the standard screen but the Double Bubble is just there to keep the rain off the nav system

Thanks Chaps. Seems to me there's no "significant" benefit then. I think I'll do without it. I will have a tankbag so there's some lazy support for the motorway miles I guess.

Thanks again.

Was going also going to ad that I've never had any problems with the standard screen.
Just don't pack your tankbag so full that you can't get a good lie down on it :smt003
