Famous last words there Kwakerz. Fantastic result for Toseland although I think some very good strategic thinking as far as track temperature and humidity is concerned (that is not to take anything at all from JT) but a very good show by the Yammys in general with even slowcoach Edwards on the front row.

Brilliant result for JT, 0.7 sec behind Rossi fighting for 4th with last years valve spring engine. I'd hoped for a top ten but never thought he'd do this well. Great to almost get pole, but that was with the wick turned right up on the old motor, only possible in qualifying when the fuel consumption doesn't matter, so he was never gonna be as fast in the race. He still ran them close and it will have really boosted his confidence.
Also great rides by Stoner, Lorenzo and even Danny.
Great day in general for the Brits, Bradley's seized Priller motor stuffed his chances in the 125s, but what a ride by 15 year old Scott Redding, (another on last years bike!), and Danny Webb right behind him.
One more result you may not have heard, what a brilliant result for Chas Davies to provisionally have won Daytona in the AMA Superbikes, (promoted from 2nd after the winner was found to have an illegal crank, awaiting confirmation). He will be the first Brit ever to win at Daytona, and hes still only 21.
Suddenly starting to look a whole lot better for biking Brits.
Just a final word on something different.
JT wasn't the only one doing us proud in South Yorkshire, I'm not a Tyke's fan but most of our extended family, who live a few miles further up the M1 are, what a great result for Barnsley, knocking out Chelsea, after beating Liverpool at Anfield in the last round, (sorry TwinNut).

I did watch Hodgeson in Daytona, bike died whilst in second place, wasnt aware of Chas!!
Bloody well done all round really!

JT did a superb job, considering it was his first outing, He'd have done a damn fine job if he'd only finished in the points, let alone where He did finish!

Yea, just had me mates round watching it on the projector with sound on setting 11 of 10
. Quite a good race even when stoner dissapeared. Thought JT was gonna steal another place but doesnt matter, it was still well impressive. And edwards just behind him which is probably better than he would have done when he was valentinos teammate.
Oh, and wtf is up with melandri? I know he's either winning or bining, but to trail round so far off the pace is embarressing.
