This is the original email.....

You have all been identified as people who have a stake in the XXXX Project and the final solution.
In light of recent developments we need to get together this week to go over some critical aspects of integration and scope with regards to dynamic content, particularly XXXX warning and shape of a hardware solution required to deliver this.

Can you think of anybody else who needs to be involved when making technical decisions with regards to the future of this critical XXXX Service?

If so please let me know.

Sorry to be a prig but I'd really appreciate it if you didn't use the words 'final solution' because of the Nazi connotations.

I wasn’t aware that there was any nazi connotations to my message, no offence was meant.

Whilst I realise the 'respondee' is correct... cos I followed the Wiki link, I didn't realise what this term stood for either, is the term final solution not a valid one in terms of the ENGLISH language as meant purely for what the words say? People like this really get on my pip, I didn't send the original email but know the person who did and they were so riled at that response to an innocent email that they were tempted to hand their notice in.

I really do destest how politically correct some people have become!!! grrrrrr!

there's one in every office/workplace. You usually find they are not as PC as they like to appear and get somewhat un=PC when their shortcomings are pointed out

not the point who it was lol.... it's the fact, to me, that someone is being picked up for what is an acceptable and legit use of the english language?

yes ... in a way, a project manager required to keep in touch with this one but not actually involved in the project being talked about!

I think my reply to that , were it to be in response to an email i'd pushed out, wouldnt be very 'politically correct' but would be very colourful.
I think my closing comment would be something along the lines of
'and if you dont like it, hand yer f***** bedding in'

Oh and youre not allowed threaten to knock lazy malingering 'kin imbeciles out either. That's apparently politically incorrect. Found that one out today

Seems to be the theme of February............. a feemale *cough, spit* superior *cough* at work decided to come back and tell certain people she was leaving in 6mths.......told the boss.....etc. It was supposed to be kept hush hush and in the best tradition of office gossip it took 2days to be around the whole place and some of us {all} were partying. She's changed her mind on the leaving {i.e. things with her new b/f of oooo 6wks weren't going so well} and she's not leaving now........ except everyone knows and she's found out everyone knows........... guess who is newest in the workplace and who has had the blame put on her for spreading gossip

erm it's not gossip..........you told certain not to be trusted people you were leaving and they've told the whole f'in place ..........I hate working with women......they are the biggest bit*£(s on the planet and the majority don't seem to know how to manage a fart party in a bean factory or how to leave their personal sh!t at home. As for the male boss..........i've seen more spine in a jellyfish..............annoyed? me? perhaps a little

do what I did with my last 'female' boss, grab her by the throat in the ladies and tell her to lay off you or she wont know whats hit her .. worked wonders

and yes I'm serious, sure I've posted about it before on the old RS, she got me to breaking point and I snapped in her face! She's ever so nice when she sees me now..... even although it was 10 years ago
