Read about this the other day.

Having just finished reading the Long Way Down by Obi Wan Kenobi and that other bloke that hangs around with him, they keep on about the Escorts and entourage that they had to travel with through several of the African states. If that is the case for a couple of actors, what kind of threat is there to the 2nd and third in line to the British throne?

Can't see that one working myself, and It strikes me that this is not the good old Britsh stiff upper lip on their part as they would have us think, more utter stupidity and total disregard for their safety and those that are obliged to protect them.

mmmm - so the Dakar was cancelled due to terrorist threat .... can't imagine they'd be interested in a couple of British royals bimbling across Africa

..... or will security funding be found for that that couldn't be found for the Dakar

Anyone seen the film S.W.A.T.? Seems to be that could be a good indication of how this would turn out (albeit in a slightly different setting.
