Both companies cited commercial reasons, with a spokesman for BAE Systems saying it did not feel its bid could deliver "the customer requirement".

Looks like we're nicely on course for the next Government IT fiasco -
It will, of course, cost us, the Taxpayer billions, but WTF, it's not Gordon's money he's throwing at the likes of IBM, and I wouldn't mind betting he gets a nice little part time consultancy number with them to top his pension up when we all kick the slimey b*stard out in 2 years time :smt013 :smt013 :smt013

Dunno about a slug .... but if you step on a spider, that's insecticide .....
