Stripping
So a weekend of stripping beckons....
...that is stripping off most of the interesting bits …
Belly-pan
Hugger
Shock
Rear Lens
Cylinder Caps
Airkit
…and there could be others. Watch the “For Sale” section…
I hear the distant wail of crossed tuning forks!!

Why? I just fancy a change. Since the end of last summer I have developed a strange longing for an R1. No particular reason, I just want one. Had a test ride in October and liked it a lot. Then Mr Yamaha decided to offer interest-free credit, and the balance was tipped. (Actually the balance was already tipped, 0% was just a handy bonus
).
So on 1st of March I get a shiny new R1.
...and it's a Renegade Airkit...
...and it's a smoked rear lens...
I guess Sabestian has first dibs on the lens (pm me an offer?), and someone else has first refusal on the shock.

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
