Of mice and Falcos
On my usual morning inspection of Betsy (my Falco) when I'm not riding, I was surprised by a mouse playing in some leaves by the front tyre. After rushing to get to work, Im now concerned that the little punk may be up to no good... like eating wires and making a nest in my bike. My bike lives outside at the moment under a roof and under an oxford cover.
Has anyone had or heard of mice taking a liking to Falcos? Im contemplating calling off some afternoon meetings and getting back there to check the situation out.

Well Its Italian innit and I know italian mice like wiring, cos I had to rewire our old Jag 10 years ago, after they'd chewed about half the wiring upSyltiz wrote:On my usual morning inspection of Betsy (my Falco) when I'm not riding, I was surprised by a mouse playing in some leaves by the front tyre. I hate it when people ask if you have a bathroom, I want to say "No we pee in the garden"

I saw a photo just the other day (in Bike magazine I think) of a mouse nest in a VFR airbox, loads of nuts and the like, he'd got as good store going. I reckon bit of heat and a bit of toffee and it would have made a good mobile snickers barxrphil wrote:heard of them making there home in the airbox before.
cure is to get one of the later Falco`s, ..............they have a cat in the exhaust

There's just one problem with that Phil, the Cat's in the first bit of the standard can, and most of our lot ditched them ages ago, so will have to stick to scarin' em off with the noise! or use the other optionsxrphil wrote: cure is to get one of the later Falco`s, ..............they have a cat in the exhaust
