That was the beeb, I avoided the tabloids.D-Rider wrote:Typical sensational reporting ....

Just google 189 mph.

The clip was soon removed from youtube but is still around various places.
Weird things seem to happen with rev limiter, wheelspin and/or clutch slip.
Gearbox speedo drive?

Yeah. 'tis still the 'bussa
One of the mags recently took one of the newer and even more ugly ones, did some very mild work to it (eg fooling the engine management that it was still in 5th so the top speed wasn't capped, a change of cans and a couple of other typical home mods) and they took it to fractionally over 200mph at Bruntingthorpe

So, common!
what is it about the need for speed?
I have, somehow just got to see how fast this thing will go! If only once!! It sometimes scares me stupid and gives me that Rush at the same time....Whaheeeey!! But most of the time I just want the thrill of being on the edge.... Am I mental or do I just need to get out a bit more often??

A) Want to live
B) Want to keep your license
I believe my Falco will exceed the 69.995 mph I once got out of it (officer)
Go to Snetterton - trackdays are pretty regular
Think it was the only place I ever had my Mille flat out in top gear.

Well I will when I eventually get my GPZ seat back..
Speed? Fek yes. Slow just..well... y'know...
Noted and its top of my list to finish, which it would have been if only

I got the foam cut to shape now all I need to do is refer to the pics I took before stripping it (both the piped version and the original lurking below) to get the shape right.
