Closure I hope

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

:smt001 Good news, I think.

I wouldve liked to have seen much longer, Ive got mates who've served longer out in Iraq than he's liable to do with good behaviour.

He now has an all important record, which should he choose to misuse his freedom will most definately bite him in the arse good and proper.

Hopefully though, for you it will bring closure to the whole horrid event.

Yep - glad to hear that some significant action has been taken .... even if
He said: “I do not consider that you yet satisfy the criteria to be considered a serious offender, but that may happen.
You wonder what the criteria must be then!

Nevertheless, I guess that whether or not you completely agree that he's got his deserts, that chapter is done and you can get on looking to better and brighter things (not a specific reference to your HID kit in case you wondered).

All the best Pete and good wishes to your wife and son too.

Coulda been worse, shoulda been better, probably as much as we could have hoped for.
How he will view his asbo probably depends on the local coppers and community when he gets out. Not necessarily summat to brag about.
He should at least find it enough of an inconvenience to change his ways. Five years is time enuff to do some growing up.
Hope it does bring closure for you and yours mate.

Glad he got a custodial sentence anyway, though I can't imagine what he'd have to do to be classed as a serious offender!

Well, six months anyway, less any time spent in custody before the court appearance.
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

Good news mate, glad he's not been left to wander the streets on some daft community service sentence. Like everyone has said above, it should have been longer, but it's probably as long as could have been expected.

Hopefully you and your family can put it behind you (although some things never quite go away :smt012 )

All the best

Glad that the system has finally delivered you a degree of justice Pete.

Just 16 at the time? What a start to adult life.

Know where he'll be going?

Just got back off holiday today, nice to come back to some good news?!?Glad he got sent down Pete, even if it should have been longer.
Hope it helps you deal with it, although it will always leave some mental scars even after all the physical ones have gone.
Keep spending the beer vouchers and a belated happy new year mate!

I'm glad he's got sent down, shame it wasn't for a lot longer. As for ASBO's they don't work here all our coppers are now plastic policemen.

I'd like to see these people made to do hard labour ie ratyher like the US in the 20's with road and rail gangs.

It'd solve the immigrant problem out as well.
