Eh? What am I missing?
Haven't US motorcycle cops had HDs for ever? I know the bikes in CHiPS were Kawasakis (they were weren't they?) but you are always seeing HDs in police makeup on tv aren't you?

CHiPS used to have Police Spec KZ1000s
I think it's all a bit sad really. They could get better machinery, cheaper. I suppose the bikes are headed for the Deep South where these sort of 'Got to be Uncle Sam' things matter

I am no fan of HDs but I imagine they would make excellent police bikes in the States. Certainly won't get so much damage to the engines as IL4s when they lay them down the road (as per all those films I mentioned earlier)

That and the fact there is a distinct lack of Roundabouts
