Some Exhaust notes

#1 Post by Aladinsaneuk » Sat Dec 01, 2007 11:04 am

while doing some changes yesterday, I took the opportunity to weigh stuff

Standard Aprilia Exhaust - weight 4.5kg per exhaust

Fuel Titanium Exhaust - weight 1.5kg per exhaust

Blueflame Titanium Evo Single exhaust - weight 1.0kg per exhaust

(Quite a difference between the aftermarket cans and the originals!)

Later on, if i can get the poxy technology to work, I will be posting some poor videos I made of the Fuel and Blue Flame exhausts, with and with out baffles (two sets of baffles on the Blue Flames btw)

Will give some idea of the different engine notes for those interested

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Any ideas on the weight of the SC Carbon mufflers? (I could take mine off and weigh them, but I've got no weighing scales.)
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.
