#1 Post by SkinnyPinny » Thu Nov 29, 2007 8:32 am

just a quick question, can anyone confirm the size of the brake bleed nipples on the front calipers of the falcos,
I am ordering bits and I eyballed the size thinking it looked abot 8mm, just about to order and I see there is a 7mm size available,
although on one web site it says use 10mm, :smt017

Well the ones on what is now my sons Falco are 8mm front and a 10mm rear.

If it was me I'd go for the 10mm there's more face to get hold of.

I was refering to the thread size, the nipples themselves seem to be 8mm, ie an 8mm spanner is need to undo them,
I am sure I undid 1 once, and the threaded part looked about 8mm, Skinny

Ring up an aprilia dealer, I'm sure they'll tell you.

Like you said they are 8mm A/F (across flats) so they are more likely to be something like 5 or 6mm threads.
