First time since I bought the Falco so interested to see how much it would cost for the whole year 212 GBP TPFT inc breakdown

. Chuffed to bollox, just got to see how much they add for a couple of minor mods and then might even see what they want for fully comp. At that price it's probably not even worth shopping around for a better quote.

That sounds like a lot to me
Of course there are so many variables.....
Anyway I would say it's always worth shopping around.

I thought that was pretty good for a 28 year old with 3 years no claims. I will however be shopping around prior to renewing.

If that's a lot, what would you say at 700 quid comp they wanted me to pay??? I ended up TPFT at 350. Nice.

Well my story this year is of woe from beginning to end.
I paid over £500 FCI as I had a 12k bike stolen, on the previous years performance it'd have been around £100 and I'm 53.
TBO comprehensive is the best way to go IMO
ah well

But isn't that unless you have 2 accidents in 3 years?

Went to the bike shaow and spoke to a few insurance brokers.
I went with MCE-£300 for two bikes (Gilera Nordwest and Falco) Fully comp, protected NCD, European breakdown and recovery, and legal protection.
I didn't think it was too shabby.

Thats more like what I was expecting. As I said I will see how much they want for the mods and fully comp as well, the biggest plus for staying with them is that even though I only have 3 years NCB that is protected which is a bonus, but rest assured I won't be handing over any money until I've done a bit of shopping round.
Just as a metter of inerest, how much excess does evryone pay on their policy? Mine is quite steep at 450 but that is mandatory not volountary and and has only gone up since I changed the policy to the bigger bike, but again this may be down to an age thing

I was paying £380 fully comp with protected NCD for my Fazer and Falco together until I moved. They charged me an additional £30 as I now live in a slightly higher risk area which I personally think is a load of bollocks, on top of that the new house is much more secure than the old one for the bikes. That was with Bike Team, unless I get a sizable discount come renewal time they can bugger off.

Was that an additional 30 quid or was that just the extortionate 'administration fee' that they charge you to change any of the details?
