However - now the weather is cool enough for full leather gear in total comfort and the roads are still fairly dry and grippy.
And what's got me posting this fairly obvious statement? A great rideout yesterday of course

It being a saturday pm there was plenty of traffic near the towns but very little on the country lanes. However there is a fair amount of farm muck on the lanes so it was quite exciting. But that's the joy of the Falco ( other V twin motorcycles are available). You really don't need to be going mad to enjoy yourself. It's all about getting the line right for a given corner and feeding in the power on the exit. With the local roads offering little forward visibility on corners you can't sensibly go in hot anyway so it has to be all about exiting. My mate on his ZX6R also enjoyed the ride but is now looking for a Cagiva Raptor coz he can see what fun I was having!!
Anyway, 100 odd miles on Suffolk's best was just what the doctor ordered.
And to all those who spent a fortune 'upgrading' their suspension.......... WHY?? The standard setup works a treat round here. I like a bit of wriggling when the surface gets rough - it's all part of the fun

I would like to have said that another of the advantages of riding at this time of year is the lack of flies but the state of my visor when I got back ....
