OK, Not an Aprilia

But maybe it should be rebadged.. and mass produced...

An old link I found on RS3. Thought it worthy of posting to ARS..

Views? I think it wouldve been the perfect successor to the Falco, or at least elements of it.

Wouldnt be surprised if you couldnt make a hybrid using parts from that and a falco base.

Hmm.. beats Mille forks and swingarms...

Very nice. I would have bought one - assuming I had £10k plus lying around :smt005

I wonder what they would have done for lights. This is where so many bikes go off the rails looks wise IMHO (Falco included). Quite like the back end look tho'.

Why not? Sounds pretty much like a Rotax 990 to me.

Anyway why would you want it to?

later mille lumps do not fit the falco frame without some radical fettling afaik

and i like the falco frame so would want to use that as a base

So what happened to the SFC1000?

Come to think of it, what has happened to Laverda?

I rather liked the looks of that bike, until my eyeballs were asualted by the "Mars Attack" rear end. I wonder what drugs the designer was on.

I don't believe there's a big problem in fitting the later mille lumps to the Falco - it's been done several times - there was even a description of it on the old ARS (garrywales was the chap)
The bigger problem is the electrical architecture is radically different - using CAN communications. This is enough to stop most people trying it.
The solution described on the old ARS was to change those parts necessary to run with stock Falco EMS and wiring.

BTW I've always liked that Laverda - shame it'll probably never make the light of day and that if it did, I'd never afford it.
