May 21st myself and a mate are off to Eire to go rambling and discovering the finer points of guiness quaffing....
So, we have a very loose itinary, we start in Rosslare and then have the week to explore.
We are thinking of riding the coast road round, up to Galway, then across to Dublin - has anyone done this and have any places that we should go and see?
(We are definitly heading to Tuam, hoping to catch up with a few people from that area)
anything else we should be aware of?
any good biker pubs that need to be visited?
Doing an ickle tour - advice accepted

I`m not that mad on Dublin, but Cork is a nice city and there are loads of places to go from there, went with my dad last spring (with hire car) down to Kinsale, then round coast cutting over to Bantry, and the ring of Kerry. really wished I was on my bike at times as there were some excellent roads, and not that many cars.
I don`t think you will have any of the UK biker pub problems, people tour there from all over Europe.
where ever you go the roads are clearer, and the craic is good

I've no idea about biking pubs or hotels, we went by car a couple of years back on a tour of the southwestern corner and had a great time.
Anywhere around the Dingle Bay area is lovely, friendly locals, great pubs. Quite expensive (beer, food and petrol) on the whole. While the roads are quite empty they're of pretty poor quality and it rains, all the time. Ireland's green for a reason!
