Optical mouse, VOIP phone introduced

Lindy has launched its latest multifunction gadget, an optical mouse with built-in VOIP phone, reports TechDigest.

The gadget comes with speakerphone functionality and a headset for hands-free use, with the mouse remaining fully functional when a call is in place.

Though it looks much like an ordinary mouse, it flips up to reveal a keypad and LCD. Its built-in microphone allows the mouse to be picked up and used like a normal phone handset.

Ive had a phone mouse for the last 5 years. Never used it mind..

Plug in headphone, etc flip cover for keys, but no LCD display.

I can only see one downside and thats when your mouse starts playing up and you hit it with a hammer...............oh dear

I only remembered my phone mouse cos i packed it away in a box last weekend in a vain attempt at tidying up.

I think I may have used it once, but never used the phone.

Im intrigued as to whenther it'll work or not now. Dammit. 1 x Box getting unpacked tomorrow evening then!
